Ayesha was born and raised in Camden, NJ.  Ayesha started dancing and performing on stage at the age of 2 and in 15 years, she has been in 24 productions.  At the age of 8, she developed a passion for helping those in need. Ayesha broke racial barriers by becoming the only African American to win the title of Miss Magnolia.
 
Ayesha graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Studies. 

Ayesha has been employed in the banking industry for the last 10 years and currently works at a credit union in Herndon, VA as a loan officer. 

Currently, Ayesha volunteers with Habitat for Humanity both within the community and internationally.  She has built homes in Virginia, Alaska, Cambodia, Zambia, and New Zealand.  She is also a volunteer tutor with the Fairfax County Office of Adult and Community Education where she helps adults earn their high school diploma.  Ayesha also volunteers with the Capital Area Food Bank stocking shelves in the warehouses or participating in various outreach program.  Ayesha also volunteers her time with the Reston Interfaith at different events and festivals spreading the word about all of the services they provide.  She also travels around speaking to young people about getting involved in and making a difference in their communities.    

In her free time, Ayesha enjoys sports, anything in the outdoors, living a healthy/holistic lifestyle and educating others about it, volunteering, traveling, and reading.  Ayesha will try anything once and has been bungy jumping, skydiving, parasailing, extreme free-falling, and diving in the Great Barrier Reef.
